BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES

PATH’s mission is: Helping individuals achieve a more independent and fulfilling life. To achieve this mission, PATH, for over thirty years, has provided a wide range of mental health and substance use services. You and your family may receive services for a range of challenges that may include loss; trauma; depression; behavioral problems; poor school or work performance; substance use; relationship struggles; transitional life concerns and serious and persistent mental illness. Services range in structure, frequency, and types of supports offered. Upon admission, you will receive a comprehensive assessment which helps to determine the level of service that best meets the needs of you and your family. Since your needs may change over time, we offer flexibility so that you can receive the services and support you need whether resolving a crisis or actively working on specific treatment and rehabilitation goals. All services are individualized and share the goal of maximizing your potential within an atmosphere that honors your dignity and self-worth.

SERVICES FOR ADULTS

PATH believes that individuals can and do recover from mental illness and/or substance use disorders. Whether through individual outpatient mental health and substance use treatment, group therapy, case management, residential services, psychiatry, or any combination, our high-quality programs and dedicated staff will help you on your journey to recovery.

SERVICES FOR CHILDREN, YOUTH, AND FAMILIES

PATH believes that behavioral health support can be critical to children, youth, and families experiencing mental health and substance use disorder challenges. We provide a range of services—including mental health and substance use disorder outpatient services, family-based services, case management, psychiatry, intensive behavioral health services, and adolescent residential treatment services—that emphasize your strengths, build upon your resiliency, and assist you and your family as you move towards recovery.

Crisis and Diversion Services

PATH is committed to the idea that behavioral health support is critical in a crisis, improving the possibility of both short- and long-term positive outcomes. PATH offers a variety of immediate and ongoing crisis services for children and adults, including walk-in urgent care for children, intensive short-term services, and community mobile crisis services, to help individuals with their immediate situation and beyond. In addition, PATH works with the Philadelphia Police Department to provide police-assisted diversion services to prevent further involvement in the criminal justice system.
