Benefits
PATH
provides a wide and competitive array of benefits to its employees. If
you are a full-time employee, the following benefits apply regardless
of your position. The highlights of our benefit package are as follows:
Health Insurance
You have a choice of three (3) healthcare plans.
- Keystone Point of Service (HMO)
- Keystone Direct Point of Service
- Blue Cross Personal Choice
- Medical Services
- Prescriptions
- Dental
- PATH contributes 3% of your base salary
- In addition to receiving 3% of your base salary from PATH, you can also contribute additional money of your own to your plan. If you choose to do this, you can contribute up to 10% of your base salary and PATH will match 25% for every dollar you contribute.
- Vesting:
- 3 years - 50%
- 4 years -75%
- 5 years - 100%
Upon satisfactory annual evaluation you are eligible to receive a salary increase. Each year a percentage increase is determined. Typically this increase has been 5%.
Retention Award
Subject to availability of funds a longevity award may be granted at the end of each fiscal year. This award is based on your longevity at PATH, as well as a satisfactory Annual Evaluation.
Holidays
You will be paid for the following holidays.
- New Year's Day
- Martin Luther King Day
- President's Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day (July 4th)
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Day after Thanksgiving
- Christmas Day
Leave Time
- Vacation - you will accrue vacation time as follows:
- 1st year - 10 vacation days
- 2nd-4th year - 15 vacation days
- 5th year - 20 vacation days
- Sick - you will accrue 12 sick days per year to a maximum of 100 days.
- Personal - you will accrue Personal Time as follows:
- Up to 10 years of tenure - 4 personal days per year
- 10 - 15 years of tenure - 5 personal days per year.
- 15 - 20 years of tenure - 7 personal days per year.
- After 20 years of tenure - 9 personal days per year.
- Bereavement - You are eligible for up to 3 paid leave days for the death of an immediate family member.
Long Term Disability
Should you be unable to work because of a serious illness or serious accident you are paid 60% of your base salary upon approval of the Insurance Company.
Life Insurance
- You receive Life Insurance in the amount of your base annual salary
- You receive Accidental Death or Dismemberment coverage
- You may also purchase additional voluntary Life Insurance at group rates
Worker's Compensation Insurance
You are covered in the event of an on the job injury.
Liability Insurance
If you are sued in the course of PATH business, you are covered by PATH's comprehensive liability insurance, if your actions are in accordance with PATH's policies and Procedures.
Leaves of Absence
- Family Medical Leave of Absence (FMLA)
- Your health insurance coverage will remain in effect as long as you pay your regular contribution
- Leave is granted because of the birth of a child, to adopt a child, to care for a family member who has a serious health condition or due to your own serious health condition
- You may receive up to 12 weeks of FMLA leave
- Eligibility begins after 12 months of employment and at least 1250 hours of work
- Non-FMLA Medical Leave of Absence - You may receive up to 3 months of leave from your job in the event that you do not qualify for FMLA due to the 1250 hours requirement
- Personal Leave of Absence - You may receive up to 3 months of leave from your job due to circumstances of an exceptional nature
- Military Leave- -You may be granted a leave of absence for military training and / or duty in the Guard or Reserve in accordance with Federal or State laws.
- Jury Duty - If you are called upon to serve you will be paid the difference between your regular base pay and jury duty pay, up to a maximum of 10 days
