Therapist Outpatient- Adults

Job Summary

Responsible for providing individual, group and/or couples therapy for assigned individuals.  Responsible for case management services.

Specific Duties

1. Provide individual, group and/or couples therapy for individuals assigned by the Adult Outpatient Director.
2. Evaluate and assess the needs of assigned individuals.
3. Collect all pertinent information including demographic history, history of presenting problem, family background, testing evaluations, medical evaluations, etc., as indicated for ongoing treatment.
4. Complete all required documentation in accordance with PATH policies and procedures.
5. Provide case management services for assigned individuals.
6. Provide referrals for assigned individuals when indicated.
7. Be aware of individuals’ financial liabilities, coordinate any financial changes with the billing department, and assist individuals in securing third party resources when indicated.
8. Attend supervision sessions as scheduled by the Adult Outpatient Director.
9. Meet all training requirements of agency and regulatory authorities.
10. Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Masters Degree from an accredited college/university in one of the helping professions (psychology, social work, or equivalent) with a minimum of one year supervised experience as a clinician or therapist in a behavioral health setting. License or license eligible preferred.

Salary

$25 per completed individual therapy session.
