Residential Skills Trainer

Type: Full Time & Part Time

Support individuals by providing assistance and training in all areas of daily living including, but not limited to self-care, cooking and household maintenance. Participate in the individual’s program planning process by attending and contributing to annual and ancillary meetings. Levels of individual assistance may range from intermittent to pervasive support. Work is active, performed in the individual’s home and in the community.

Position Requirements

Physical examination is required, including TB test. A valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record is required for certain positions.

Must be able to physically lift and transfer individuals to ensure mobility. Persons providing support must be respectful, sensitive, caring and patient. Also, must demonstrate good oral and written communication and problem-solving skills.

Education Requirements

Minimum requirement of High School diploma.

Schedule

Various program schedules are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. (FULL & PART-TIME)
