Program Manager - Renaissance Outpatient

Job Summary
Provide clinical supervision regarding Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Psychiatric Rehabilitation emphasizing the Boston University Model, recovery principles and values and other proven clinical interventions in a trauma informed and culturally sensitive manner.
Specific Duties

Attend trainings on recovery, WRAP, psychiatric rehabilitation, trauma, motivational interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Keep apprised of new research and developments in these areas through journals, web sites and literature.

Assure that delivery of clinical treatment is congruent with models noted above.

Assure that delivery of rehabilitative services are congruent with models noted above.

Supervise and participate in the on-going development and operation of high-quality recovery oriented therapeutic and rehabilitative services.

Assure compliance with state, county and agency standards and regulations.

Assure that each individual is interviewed, evaluated and oriented for entry into the program.

Assure completion of a Comprehensive Biopsychosocial Evaluation for each individual.

Assure that therapeutic interventions identified by the Stakeholder Committee is reviewed and implemented as assigned by the Program Director.

Assure that an effective, appropriate and timely treatment or rehabilitation plan has been developed for each individual.

Conduct regularly scheduled team meetings to assess all individuals progress.

Coordinate consultation with psychiatrist and other professionals who comprise the individual's comprehensive treatment team.

Assure collaboration with involved personnel in the community such as GED instructors, college professors, faith-based representatives, volunteer and employment supervisors.

Consult with Core Support Team Program Manager on a regular basis to coordinate appropriate supports.

Attend appropriate supervisory and administrative meetings.

Complete annual evaluations of assigned staff.

Conduct orientation of new staff.

Approval of vacations, personal and sick leave of staff contingent upon proper program coverage.

In conjunction with Human Resources participate in related investigations.

Handle disciplinary problems by discussing them with your supervisor and the Human Resources Department.

Refer all requests for references to Human Resources.

Ensure assigned staff are adequately trained in his/her job function and continue to meet all necessary training and credentialing requirements.

Keep supervisor informed of all problematic situations.

Maintain regular communication with staff through on-going supervision.

Possess a valid driver's license, access to car.

Provide 24 hours/7 days a week emergency beeper coverage on a rotating basis.
Position Requirements
License in Human Services field, LCSW preferred, and experience working with individuals who have a mental illness and/or substance abuse problem. Valid PA Drivers License. Specialized certification in Psychiatric Rehabilitation, Co-Occurring disorders and trauma preferred.
