Who is served?
You are served if you are a child or teenager who is experiencing difficulty in school.
Why is the service offered?
The Consultation & Education (C & E) Program helps you and your
family obtain the services needed to overcome challenges which may be
limiting your achievement and success in school.
What is the service?
- You and your family will meet privately with a C & E Specialist who will listen to your concerns and help you identify reasons why you are experiencing difficulties in school.
- You and your family will be helped by your C & E Specialist to obtain supports and benefits to meet your academic, social and medical needs.
- Your C & E Specialist will also help you and your family obtain mental health or substance abuse treatment, if needed.
- You may participate in groups at your school which are scheduled throughout the year to bring students with similar concerns together.

Services are provided at the following schools in Northeast Philadelphia:
- Stephen Decatur Elementary School
- Louis H. Farrell Elementary School
- A. L. Fitzpatrick Elementary School
- J. Hampton Moore Elementary School
- James J. Sullivan Elementary School
- Austin Meehan Middle School
- Northeast High School
When is the service available?
Monday through Friday - 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

You attend one of the schools listed above.
